Manufacturing Industrial-Grade Equipment Since 1963

1963 - Industrial Instrument Repair Co. is established at 1440 S. Charles St. Baltimore, Maryland with Wayne Cooke Sr. as its sole employee. Mr. Cooke Sr. did extensive repairs on industrial machinery from Honeywell, Foxboro, L & N, and more.

1969 -Industrial Instrument Repair Co. becomes W. H. Cooke & Co. A sales representative and distribution division is also added to the business to sell the industrial controls, heating elements, and sensors of other manufacturers.

1975 - We move to 2926 Industrial Park Dr., Finksburg, Maryland and begin to manufacture thermocouples and repair instruments. We also establish our company’s sales division.

1978 -Our instrument repair division is sold, and the new owner incorporates it under the original name of Industrial Instrument Repair Co. in Baltimore, Maryland.

2006 - We purchase a more spacious building and move into our present location at 6868 York Rd., Hanover, Pennsylvania.

2010 - Our company purchases Stock Controls, Inc. out of Wayne, Pennsylvania, closes its office, and moves its inventory to our Hanover plant.

2011 - W.H. Cooke & Co. goes "off the grid" by adding a 42 KW – 182 solar panel system on the roof of our building.

2012 -We acquire a machine shop in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, and move its equipment to our Hanover plant. These pieces of machinery help us provide our customers with a quick turnaround time for special fittings and parts.

2014 - Our company acquires Martin Equipment Co. in Baltimore, Maryland, which specializes in the sales of sanitary valves and fittings for the food processing industry. Its operation is moved to our Hanover location.

2016 -We purchase Covell Equipment Co., which is based in Seaford, Delaware, and move its inventory to our Hanover plant where we would continue to supply and support Covell's customers in the chicken processing industry across the country.

2016–2022 -W. H. Cooke & Co. makes a substantial investment in laser welder and other automation equipment. We also upgrade our manufacturing facilities to allow us to continue providing our customers with excellent quality and on-time delivery.
